Black Beauty® Fall Magic Grass Seed is a premium cool-season grass seed blend specially formulated for successful fall seeding. Featuring a carefully selected mix of tall and fine fescues, Kentucky bluegrass, and perennial ryegrass, this blend is ideal for thickening established lawns, repairing summer damage, or starting a new lawn. It performs well in full sun to partial shade and germinates in as little as 10–14 days, helping establish a lush, durable lawn before winter.

Application Instructions:
- Timing: Apply in fall when soil temperatures are between 55°F and 70°F. For cool-season lawns, fall is the preferred seeding season, although it can also be applied in spring.
- Prepare: Mow the existing lawn short, bag the clippings, and rake away debris, rocks, and thatch. Rake the soil to create shallow grooves for improved seed-to-soil contact.
- Apply: Use a rotary, broadcast, or drop spreader and follow the recommended spreader setting on the product packaging. For new lawns, apply in two directions using a crisscross pattern for even coverage. For overseeding, make straight passes across the lawn in a mowing pattern.
- Incorporate: Gently rake the seeded area so the seed is incorporated into the top ¼ inch of soil.
- Water: Thoroughly water immediately after seeding without creating runoff or puddles. Keep the seedbed consistently moist by watering lightly several times a day as needed during germination.
- Maintain: Continue watering regularly until the new grass reaches 2–2½ inches tall. Begin mowing when the grass reaches 3–4 inches, removing no more than the top one-third of the blades.
