Paws & Claws Howl-O-Ween Fest 2026
We’re teaming up with Bowie CLAW (Citizens for Local Animal Welfare) charity organization to bring you a tail-wagging good time at our Howl-O-Ween Fest dog costume event! Bring your dog dressed in their scariest, group, handmade, or funniest costume and enjoy a day filled with laughter, doggie games, photo ops, and delicious treats.
This event is free to attend. If you would like your dog to participate, pre-registering your pup below for just $10 gets them extra goodies and a chance to compete in contests for trophies and other prizes!
All proceeds from this event will go directly to supporting the animals and programs of Bowie CLAW
Registration Information:
If you wish to register your dog for this event, you must purchase a ticket below. The pre-registration fee is $10 (per dog). Tickets will be available on the day of the event, and the price will be raised to $15 (per dog).
Once your ticket has been purchased, within 1-2 business days, you will receive a link to a Google Form that must be filled out before the event. You must provide proof of an up-to-date rabies vaccination, or your dog will not be allowed to participate in this event.
Event Highlights:
- 12:00 - 12:30 pm: Pet Safe Talk
- 12:40 - 1:00: Pie Eating Contests
- small, medium, and large dog categories
- 1:00 - 1:45: Costume Contests
- walking order: scariest, best group, best handmade, and funniest
- 1:45 - 2:00: Final Winner Announcements, including Best In Show
Category winners receive a trophy and professional framed photo.

Drawings & Giveaways:
Gift Basket Drawings will be happening throughout the day.
Important Notes:
- Registration fees are non-refundable. One $10 registration fee is required per dog.
- The Google Form sent to your email must be filled out and submitted before the event.
- Dogs must remain leashed at all times during the event.
- Any dog exhibiting continual aggressive behavior will be asked to leave for the safety of all attendees.
- The rain date for this event will be the following date, Oct. 25th.
