Spotted Bee Balm (Monarda punctata) is a distinctive native perennial known for its unique layered flower structure, aromatic foliage, and outstanding drought tolerance compared to other Monarda species. Blooming from mid to late summer, it produces unusual tiered whorls of pale yellow to cream-colored flowers, heavily spotted with purple and accented by soft pink bracts.
