Simona Pot — Terracotta
The Simona Pot brings a touch of classic French elegance to plant displays with its romantic, refined design. Inspired by the atmosphere of Paris’s historic Latin Quarter and vintage pots discovered in Montmartre, the Simona features a softly rounded profile accented by a delicate row of raised pearl-like details around the upper rim. Its decorative design is visible from every angle, making it just as attractive from the side as it is from the front.
Handcrafted by experienced potters in Tuscany, Italy, each Simona Pot reflects the character and craftsmanship of traditional terracotta pottery. The natural Rosa Terracotta and Grey Terracotta finishes highlight the texture and warmth of the clay while providing versatile color options for both classic and contemporary interiors. The unglazed terracotta also allows the pot to naturally breathe, making it particularly well suited to plants that prefer well-draining growing conditions.
Available in standard sizes, the Simona Pot works beautifully for a variety of houseplants, herbs, flowering plants, and small foliage. Whether displayed individually or grouped in complementary sizes, the Simona adds handcrafted character and Parisian-inspired charm to any plant collection.
Care & Maintenance:
Placement: Use indoors on tables, shelves, windowsills, plant stands, or other stable surfaces. Larger sizes can also be used outdoors on patios, terraces, and garden areas.
Drainage: Use the drainage hole to allow excess water to escape and help prevent waterlogged soil.
Watering: Because unglazed terracotta is porous, moisture can evaporate more quickly than with glazed or nonporous containers. Monitor soil moisture and water according to the plant’s needs.
Cleaning: Gently brush away soil and debris or wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners that could damage the natural terracotta surface.
Outdoor Placement: For outdoor use, elevate the pot with suitable pot feet to improve drainage and airflow underneath the container. Bergs Potter recommends pot feet for outdoor pots.
Winter Care: Protect the terracotta from prolonged freezing conditions and saturated soil during freezing weather to help prevent cracking.
