Pantheon Pot
The Pantheon Pot brings architectural elegance to plant displays with a design inspired by the iconic Pantheon in Rome. Its distinctive surface is decorated with symmetrical rows of recessed coffers, echoing the geometric patterns found throughout the famous Roman dome. The repeating pattern wraps around the pot’s slender cylindrical form, creating a refined texture that adds visual interest without overwhelming the plant it holds. Designed by Rasmus Rostrup, the Pantheon combines classical inspiration with a clean, contemporary silhouette.
Handcrafted from natural terracotta, the Pantheon Pot pairs its architectural detailing with the warmth and character of traditional clay pottery. The terracotta finish provides a sophisticated, understated look that works particularly well with both vibrant foliage and more muted plant palettes. The natural terracotta construction is also breathable, allowing air and moisture to move through the pot and creating favorable conditions for healthy roots.
With six standard sizes available, the Pantheon Pot offers options for a range of plants and spaces. Smaller sizes are well suited to tabletop plants, herbs, and compact houseplants, while the larger sizes provide additional room for fuller plants and statement displays. Care & Maintenance:
Placement: Use indoors on tables, shelves, windowsills, plant stands, or other stable surfaces, or outdoors on patios, terraces, balconies, and garden areas.
Planting: Choose a well-draining potting mix appropriate for the plant being grown.
Drainage: Use the drainage hole to allow excess water to escape and help prevent waterlogged soil.
Watering: Natural terracotta is porous and allows moisture to evaporate through the clay, so monitor soil moisture and water according to the needs of the plant.
Cleaning: Gently remove soil and debris with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials that could damage the natural terracotta.
Outdoor Placement: Elevate the pot appropriately when used outdoors to encourage drainage and airflow beneath the container.
Winter Care: Protect the pot from prolonged freezing conditions and saturated soil during freezing weather to reduce the risk of cracking.
