Pamina Anemone
Anemone hupehensis ‘Pamina’, Pamina Japanese WindflowerAnemone Pamina brings an elegant presence to the late-season garden. Blooming from late summer into early fall, this Japanese Anemone produces clusters of semi-double, rose-pink flowers with golden-yellow stamens, held on wiry stems above a mound of deeply cut, dark green foliage. The 2–3 inches wide flowers sway delicately in the breeze and offer a graceful, cottage-garden feel.
Compact and more restrained in spread than some other Japanese Anemones, Anemone Pamina reaches about 18 to 24 inches tall, making it ideal for small garden spaces, borders, or shade gardens. It thrives in partial shade but tolerates full sun in cooler climates, and it performs best in consistently moist, well-drained soil.
Anemone Pamina is a pollinator-friendly plant that attracts bees and butterflies while resisting deer and rabbits. It’s a great choice for brightening up the late-season garden and pairs beautifully with ornamental grasses, asters, and other fall-flowering perennials. Once established, it forms a reliable, long-lasting clump with minimal care required.
Planting: Plant in spring or fall in organically enriched, well-drained soil.

Soil Tips: Amend with compost or well-rotted organic matter to boost drainage and fertility. Mulch lightly in spring to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
