Care Instructions Encore® Autumn Fire®

• Watering: Water regularly during the first year to establish roots. Once established, it is moderately drought-tolerant but benefits from consistent moisture.
• Fertilizing: Apply a slow-release, acid-forming fertilizer after the spring bloom and again in summer. Avoid fertilizing after August to allow the plant to prepare for winter.
• Pruning: Prune immediately after the spring bloom if shaping is needed. Avoid heavy pruning, as it may reduce the number of blooms in the next cycle.
• Mulching: Apply a 2–3 inch layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture and regulate soil temperature.
