Catherine Woodbury Daylily
Catherine Woodbury Daylily is a time-tested favorite among gardeners for good reason. This elegant variety produces large, 5- to 6-inch wide blooms in soft lavender-pink, offset by a vivid yellow-green throat. The flowers rise on tall, slender scapes above a fountain of arching green foliage, creating a striking display in borders, perennial beds, or mass plantings.
This variety is a rebloomer, meaning it sends up multiple rounds of blooms throughout the summer, often beginning in late June and continuing well into August. The blooms are fragrant and open in the morning, lasting for just one day, hence the name “daylily”, but each plant produces many buds for a long season of interest. Its refined color palette complements a wide range of companion plants, including ornamental grasses, echinacea, salvia, and sedum.
Hemerocallis Catherine Woodbury is incredibly easy to grow, tolerating heat, drought, and a wide range of soils. It’s also deer-resistant and low-maintenance, making it a great choice for both new and experienced gardeners. This daylily brings romance and resilience to the landscape with its classic charm.
Planting: Plant in spring or fall in full sun for best blooms (minimum 6 hours/day).

Pest & Disease Management: Generally pest-free.
Soil Tips: Daylilies tolerate a wide range of soils but perform best in well-drained, moderately fertile conditions.
